Monumental Moment In Music: Dreamville's Revenge of the Dreamers III
Updated: Dec 6, 2019
A monumental moment for music, Dreamville just released the highly anticipated Revenge of the Dreamers III which proved nothing short of perfection. Aside from Dreamville’s original all-star cast; JCole, Ari Lennox, Bas, Cozz, Omen, J.I.D, EarthGang, and Lute,

the album features some of music’s most prominent artists such as Da Baby, Yung Nudy, Buddy, and T.I to name a few. The eighteen-track album is something music has never seen before as well as the Albums creative process which entailed a ten-day camp at Atlanta’s very own Tree Sound Studios. JCole extended a personal invitation to artists from all over which they referred to via social media as their “golden ticket.” No track is similar, each sound introducing you to the world of whoever the track features while offering listeners with a variety of fresh and authentic sounds. The Album provides listeners with an induced Dreamville sound still lyrical, R&b, and even trap music. Dreamville sets the tone for healthy competition and with the backing of Cole, reminds rap culture of how important the creation process is. Before the release of the album a twenty-nine minute mini documentary appeared which gave fans the leisure of watching exactly how the album came about.

Cole is a revolutionary in changing the way music is not only heard but viewed. Enabling artists with the opportunities to hop on tracks with their fellow competitors, friends, and to some maybe even strangers which surprisingly created exactly what music needed. if you’re a student to the culture like me I know you’ll enjoy.
